CASE STUDY
5-Bedroom Detached

5-Bedroom Detached
Our client had recently had a loft conversion carried out by another contractor. Unfortunately, following an inspection, the local council Building Control team were unable to sign off on the work.
Each local authority across the UK has a duty to ensure that any building works being undertaken are compliant with Building Regulations. In this instance, the work failed to meet the necessary standards, and our client was struggling to find builders they could trust.
Fortunately, we were able to step in and rectify the situation.
Our team reworked the entire loft, undertaking aspects of carpentry, roof skimming, and plumbing & electrical work to bring everything up to code.
Due to the poor workmanship of the previous contractor, we did encounter a few unexpected issues along the way. However, we communicated each problem quickly and clearly with our client, agreeing on the best ways to overcome the challenges.
10 weeks later, we had significantly improved on the existing conversion, delivering a safe and compliant loft space on time, and within budget. Following a new inspection from the local council, the Building Control team happily signed off on the work, resulting in a happy, satisfied client.
